I was a proud BlackBerry evangelist - Canadian technology, robust, trusted by government, easy to type on. I forgave them for screwing up the tablet line (should have been a business machine, not a <a href="http://us.blackberry.com/playbook-tablet/">Playbook</a>). I wanted the new <a href="http://us.blackberry.com/smartphones/blackberry-bold-9900-9930/?IID=us:bb:Desktop:Homepage:Feb2012:BeBold_BoldDetails">Bold</a>, as they finally combined touch and their great keyboard (I don’t accept the <a href="http://us.blackberry.com/smartphones/blackberrytorch/">Torch</a> was serious).</p> <p>But then I remembered my apps and thought of the BlackBerry app marketplace. The panels I saw (and a few I LiveStreamed afterwards - wonderful feature!) were not very interesting. Same things the speakers had said/posted/tweeted before, and no compelling discussion.
